Why Tallawa exists

Health should fit
a whole life.

We are building a calmer, more inclusive way to plan health across movement, food, body, mind and personal practice.

Purple and gold compass

“Tallawa” carries the spirit of being small but mighty: resilient, capable and stronger than first impressions suggest.

Our name

Many health apps split real life into disconnected boxes. Workouts live in one place, meals in another, moods somewhere else, and the personal practices that help people stay grounded are often ignored entirely.

Tallawa began with culturally aware fitness and nutrition. It is growing into a whole person health companion because movement, food, recovery, feelings, fasting and spirituality can influence each other.

That connection should never mean overreach. Tallawa does not guess your beliefs, prescribe medication, diagnose symptoms or promise outcomes. It gives you better tools to plan, log and reflect while keeping authority where it belongs.

What guides us

Principles before features.

The product should remain useful when the novelty wears off.

01

Respect

Culture, belief and personal context are choices to honour, never signals to infer.

02

Clarity

Health information should be understandable, editable and honest about uncertainty.

03

Agency

Tallawa supports your decisions. It does not diagnose, prescribe or become an authority over your life.

04

Privacy

Health data needs careful ownership controls, private storage and a clear path to export or delete.

05

Access

The experience is built for different bodies, abilities, routines, foods, cultures and paths.

06

Progress

A useful next action matters more than perfection, pressure or a streak.

Built with you, not around you.

Questions, accessibility feedback and honest criticism make Tallawa better.
